Mummy Bear Marketing is my passion project. My day job is in digital marketing so I work with marketing theory and practice day in, day out. But if you haven't ever worked in this area, or you don't necessarily understand it, marketing can seem a daunting task.

I realised that no where was this feeling of unease, confusion or fear more felt than with small businesses, more specifically mum-run small business! The number of women starting their own businesses after having a child is on the rise, due in part to traditional employment circumstances not being family-friendly, having control over working hours and generating additional household income. The launching of home run small businesses has only increased since the COVID pandemic meaning there is a more saturated market place in which to compete.

Personally I had a number of my fellow mum (& non-mum) friends launch their own businesses during this period. I was often asked by them how to do everything from understanding Instagram hashtags, to building an email list, setting up ads to understanding what the letters S.E.O actually mean!

Because of this I decided that I wanted to create a community of successful mum-run business owners by teaching them marketing from the basics in a way that is easy to understand, simple to implement and has everything in one place!

Mummy Bear Marketing has been designed to fit with your busy life too! Our training courses are all on demand and have lifetime access so you can work through them at a pace whcih suits you. All our free social media challenges are recorded so if bedtime overruns you can catch up at your convenience, and our cheat sheets and guides can do the work for you if you're really pushed for time!
